On Tuesday, September 18th we are having our FIRST big math test. It will cover every topic we have discussed in class since the first day of school. The students have been given a study guide to read over, a review worksheet to practice on, notes in their cheat code booklets to study from, and a website with videos, graphics, and explanations to further assist them in learning the material thoroughly. Below is a complete list of the topics that will be covered on Tuesday's test.
-rounding decimal numbers
-arithmetic with decimals (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
-factors and multiples
-Greatest Common Factor (GCF)
-Least Common Multiple (LCM)
-reducing mixed numbers
-turning mixed numbers into improper fractions, and vice-versa
-multiplying fractions, mixed numbers, and whole numbers
-dividing fractions, mixed numbers, and whole numbers
Please encourage your child to study a minimum of 30-45 minutes the night before any test. Good luck and God bless!
Thanks so much,
Mrs. R :)
