Students took a quiz over 20 personal finance terms. We also compared using forms of payments such as cash, debit, and credit. Students were also required to complete a checks/balances handout for homework.
Students worked on writing checks, deposit slips, and check registers. Quiz over some of the Personal Finance terms on Friday.
This is the second day students have worked on their research for the Australian Animal Project. On Tuesday, students will be going to the computer lab to take the research and create a Power Point using their rubric. This project will count as a TEST grade.
Students were given study guides today for Thursday's TEST over Australia. Students will review tomorrow for the test.
The Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before Spring Break (3/29, 30, & 31), students completed Australia's government and economic system handouts (#'s 8,9, & 10 in their notebook). Today, students turned in their Australia notebook and reviewed for a pop quiz on Australia's government system. Students will have a TEST this Thursday over all of Australia. Study guides will be given out tomorrow - Tuesday, April 11th.
My name is Cindy Wood and this is my 29th year of teaching Social Studies. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. I went on to receive a Master's degree in education and also have a Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I have been married to my college sweetheart for over 35 years.
